The fat that is lodged in the abdominal area is not only for overweight people. There can be many reasons for this. It is mainly due to a poor dietary balance. It can also be due to a hormonal imbalance, for example during the menopause, after pregnancy or in case of stress. As a result, there is an accumulation of gas in the stomach and intestines. Here are some nutritional advice given by Herbalife, specialist in the sale of nutritional products to keep a flat stomach.
Watch the composition of your meals
In order to have a flat stomach, it is important not to skip your breakfast and to respect the rhythm of the meals. Above all, you must eat, but eat well with a fairly stable sugar level. It is advisable to have three main meals, and even make small light snacks during the day, especially in the morning. Avoid having too much sugar. Bread, baguette, butter and jam is not at all what you need to have a flat stomach because you need mostly protein. The ideal would be to take wholegrain cereals or wholegrain bread with a little butter and dairy products.
According to Herbalife, a flat stomach depends a lot on what you eat after 18 hours. For this reason, avoid after all sugar intake, especially white sugar, because it is very badly digested at dinner. Also avoid all raw vegetables which are fibers poorly digested by the body. Also avoid a large consumption of starchy foods which may tend to ferment in the evening and be aware that generally after 6 p.m. you consume much less energy than during the day.
It is also advisable to have an early dinner with a menu consisting of half a plate of green vegetables drizzled with a drizzle of olive or rapeseed oil and with about 100 grams of lean poultry or fish protein. And you finish your meal with a milky dessert of yoghurt or cottage cheese. Also make sure that you have food at every meal, rich in fibre and therefore in fruit and vegetables, and just pay attention to vegetables that ferment, such as cabbage, peas, onions or raw vegetables.
Foods to be preferred and those to be avoided
Instead, choose zucchini, squash, asparagus or prunes and replace refined white products with wholemeal products that will be richer in fibre with a lower glycemic index, as these foods have a positive impact on insulin secretion. So to burn abdominal fat, you need good fats, including omega 9s found in olive oil, avocados in nuts and fines.
Herbalife also advises you to avoid all cooked fats. Instead, add your oil at the end of cooking. Also avoid all fried foods and reduce your gluten intake. Gluten is everything found in cereals, bread, pasta, especially white paws or white bread.
